Safety, Occupational Health and Workplace Environment Policy

The Company is aware of the importance of safety, occupational health and workplace environment, with the focus on fostering good quality of lives, safety and positive work environment for all employees, relevant operators and stakeholders, as well as enhancing work effectiveness to achieve the objectives and goals of the Company and sustainable development goals, to take the organization towards sustainable business operations.

Hence, the Company has prescribed the Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Policy as follows:

• Complying with the legal regulations on safety, occupational health and workplace environment, as well as international standards and other relevant regulations.
• Providing budgetary support and allocating appropriate resources, together with training and development of knowledge in safety, occupational health and workplace environment in a continuous manner.
• Monitoring the operations in occupational health and safety, with the development of safety, occupational health and workplace environment management systems, risk management and prescription of control measures, appropriate work regulations that can minimize and prevent losses from accidents, incidents, injuries, illnesses and diseases caused by work. Participation is encouraged by way of offering consultation to operators and stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness in safety management.
• Identifying goals and measurement indicators, with the monitoring and evaluation of operating results in safety, occupational health and workplace environment, to ensure continuous improvement and maximum effectiveness.
• Fostering workplace safety culture in a continuous manner. Building an awareness of safety is considered a duty of the management team and all staff members to collaboratively take actions to ensure one’s own safety and that of others, as well as the Company’s properties.

This policy takes effect upon all levels of staff members of the Company and subsidiaries, as well as suppliers, contractors and visitors or relevant operators.
