Phol Dhanya PCL respects and complies with the human rights principle, emphasizing and respecting the human dignity that forms the core basis of business operations. The focus is on equal treatment towards all groups of stakeholders without discrimination, allowing everyone equal opportunities regardless of race, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, language, cult, belief, social status, family of origin, disability, political view, as well as compliance with the relevant legal and human rights regulations based on Thai and international laws. Compliance with the human rights principle in business operations is encouraged based on the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and being responsible for the society and all groups of stakeholders, in pursuit of the Company’s business code of conduct, to prevent violation of human rights in work processes. The practical guidelines are prescribed as follows:

  • The Company complies with the laws related to human rights enforced in Thailand and overseas, as well as the Business Code of Conduct to prevent violation of human rights, by promoting respect for protection of basic human rights at all levels. They are to be integrated into work procedures, including procurement and purchasing procedures responsibly, covering key stakeholders throughout the entire value chain, for the purpose of protecting violation of human rights of any means, alleviating impact of business activities through risk assessment, and proper impact alleviating measures for minimum impact.
  • Treat the labor fairly, with human resource management procedures that follow the human rights principles, from recruitment, human resource development, hiring, termination, compensation, as well as human resource retention, ensuring that they are fair and equal without discrimination. Child labor, forced labor, illegal foreign labor, and illegal conducts are prohibited. The Company encourages staff members, suppliers, and subcontractors to respect the human rights by law, not tolerating discrimination of all sorts in terms of diversity in ideology, race, skin color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, birthplace, age, disability, educational level, political view, participation in gatherings to express opinions, economic and social statuses, or any other statuses that are part of the human rights enforced domestically and key principles of the International Labor Organization.
  • Arrange appropriate welfare and safe working environment according to the public health, hygiene and safety laws, while putting in place the measures and system to prevent and monitor safety risks.
  • Respect the rights of consumers and customers through fair and equal treatment, with protection of personal data according to the Personal Data Protection Act and confidentiality, and respect for the suppliers’ rights to promote fair competition in accordance with the Company’s Business Code of Conduct.
  • The Company respects the community and is committed to being a good neighbor and reliable alliance in establishing a good wellbeing for the community, as well as executing projects that are beneficial for the community.
  • The Company welcomes complaints or reports of human rights violation related to the Company’s operations, both from the Company’s activities and businesses in which the Company has managerial authority, via the complaint submission channel on the Company’s website www.pdgth.com. The Company ensures fairness and protection for the person submitting the complaint or reporting behaviors of human rights violation related to the Company in accordance with the protection measures specified in the Business Code of Conduct.
  • Develop the human rights system and inspection procedures in a comprehensive manner Human Rights Due Diligence for the Company and the supply chain to identify human rights risks, assess the impact and specify the protection and impact alleviation measures, as well as the appropriate, fair and generally accepted remedial measures. Furthermore, the inspection of human rights violation, compliance with the human rights policy, regular reporting and information disclosure should be executed
